Effective Communication - Checklist 1

1-Articulate your commitment to your relationships. Reassure others of their worthiness and value. ie. show them you trust and appreciate them.
2-Make commitments (promises) using qualifying language.
3-Keep promises, or renegotiate with integrity and accountability.
4-Don’t use attacking words or express judgments. Express facts and own emotions.
5-Notice when your words do not create intended actions in others. Think of other words which might have possibly worked better.

Qualifying language has time limits and amounts.
Accountability is taking ownership of own words and actions.

Effective Communication - Introduction

Imagine yourself communicating confidently.
-Earning other people's trust so they can talk to you about any concern.
-Earning people's respect so they listen to your words positively.
-Inspiring others to make goals, keep commitments and succeed.

Imagine yourself calming people down, fixing problems and building warm relationships.

Join me in my persuit to become a better comunicator by learning to be accountable for my own words and actions and creating accountability in all my relationships.

To make progress we need to check our behaviour and attitude on a daily basis using checklists which will progress from the simple to the comlex.
